How do I install a friction shim/clip for my cordless shade?

A friction shim/clip should only be installed in a shade that needs additional friction or if the blind is rising up from the bottom. To install the friction shim/clip, please see instructions below:

Installing friction shim/clip

1. Lift blind to open position
2. Remove shade from window
3. Install 1 shim/clip per shade as shown in diagram. Push shim/clip until it "snaps" in place.
4. If the shade still rises, an additional friction shim can be added to the opposite side.
5. If the shade still rises after installing friction shims on opposite sides, the shade needs to be repaired. Contact customer service for a return authorization number.
